What is Adderall?

Adderall is a prescription drug and is a combination medication indicated for Attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and Narcolepsy. It is a combination drug containing four salts of amphetamine. The mixture comprises equal parts of racemic amphetamine and dextroamphetamine in a ( 3:1) ratio. It belongs to the class of drugs called stimulant that works in the brain and effectively manages the symptoms of ADHD and Narcolepsy.

How to take Adderall?

Adderall can be had with or without a meal. Take this medication in the daytime, as taking it late may result in insomnia. It is prescribed twice or thrice a day, usually 4 – 6 hours apart.
